I know I should just ask my vet but I forgot while I was there and they're busy over the phone so I figured I'd ask here until I could get ahold of them.

Is there a reason they want my puppy to lose all his puppy teeth before they'll neuter him? They said they want to surgically remove his puppy molars so they can neuter him but it's like $100 a tooth! So I was wondering if it's absolutely necessary for him to be rid of all his puppy teeth before they'll perform the surgery?
