That is one of the most ill behaved Yorkies I have seen in a long time. But the owners are probably 95% at fault. There is absolutely no training, no correction of in-correct behaviour, astounding!
To the OP:
Find a breeder who breeds for good temperament, and knows how to raise puppies correctly. One of the keys to stable and good temperament is the temperament of the mother dog! Almost the most important. THe sire does contribute to temperament, but remember the mother is raising the pups for about 12wks or so.
Razzle every once in a while has growled/resource guarded me in particular. When that happens he is disciplined, firm no, off my lap or if he is getting some special bed time off the bed into the crate he goes.
Bones for many dogs are the ultimate high value treat. One needs to start from day one teaching leave it drop it give it. And there is a step by step process for this, which usually starts out with exchange, you drop that sock, you get a treat. You drop or leave that treat, I give you a better one.
