KFB is knitting front to back resulting in an increase of stitches. I've worked in the rounds using 5 needles but prefer circulars for the body and DPNs for the sleeves. I "knit" stitch all around and only purl for the ribbing portion or when the pattern calls for it. I don't work from inside out, therefore I'm always knitting on the right side instead of wrong side of the sweater. Hope that makes sense.

I still don't understand how you rounded off your sweater I guess we all have different methods to knitting
