I would feed her more. That might be why she is trying to eat everything in sight, as she isn't getting enough. As a growing puppy, she needs nutrition high caloric intake for her puppy energy needs. and I would do two to three scheduled meals a day so you know how much she is eating. Are you checking with your vet on how she looks, feels etc for her age and size? Has she been checked for parasites, fecal checks, etc.?

As a point of reference, my yorkie was a few ounces more than yours at 6 months old and she was getting about 3/4 cup a day of kibble and wet food and training treats throughout the day back then and up until she was about 1.5 years and she did well on it and did not get fat. (I don't feed kibble anymore, but I know the estimates on the bags are just a starting point and you should adjust if needed).
