Before I got my 2nd I had to honestly ask myself, if they were both to get sick at the same time and both required extensive vet visits and life saving surgeries,would I be able to give them all the proper care they deserve?
I say if you have the fincancial stability and the time in your day to devote to two dogs, then go for it! They are so fun to watch as the bond grows, the older accepts the newcomer and they become inseperable.
P.s. mine are both girls. They are doing great so far but they are full blooded sisters through and through
