 Abby's up-date
Well... We did end up going to Tuskegee vet (Abby's veterinarian has a great rapport with them). The doc was very thorough and I appreciate that she took well over 45 min for the initial exam. Test that Abby had done today include....Abdominal X-ray, abdominal US, CBC with diff, PLT count, urinalysis , cytology report, prothrombin time ( ALL NORMAL). The doc says Abby may have had an over whelming infection that started an immune mediated thrombocytopenia which is now corrected possibly from the antibiotics she been taken. As for Abby ... She's eating, drinking, pooping and going right back to bed...still NO ENERGY. We are watching her over the next few days. She will have one more test ( bone marrow biopsy) in a few weeks. I'm still so sad because she's not herself. It hurts so bad to see her like this. Thanks for all the prayers. It really helps. Will give more updates later.
