My 2 girls are inseparable. Dolly is the most socialized dog you'll ever meet so when wild, untamed, 2 year old Teena showed up Dolly welcomed her into our home shared, & taught her her manners.
Now who on a Yorkie forum would recommend your second dog to be a Golden? LOL. I wouldn't be able to tolerate the shedding.
