I don't know. My parents have 2 neutered cavaliers and Huey climbs all over them, too, but when they get tired of him, they tell him. If he doesn't catch on, they tell him again, punctuated by a snap/growl (never close enough to actually make contact; they would never hurt him, it is just communication to a hard headed little annoying yorkie!) Huey will understand and lay off for a while.
