As long as she is trained to provide a specific service for you that is a medical need she is considered a service dog. You need to talk with dog trainers in your area to work with you to get her trained. That being said let me warn you that I have heard of scams that charge large sums of money then do not actually train your dog. Also check with the Red Cross in your area. Having a doctors letter will help but you might be asked to tell want the dog actually does for you.
Additionally the training is very expensive but most legit training schools have scholarship programs.
