It is important that puppy remained on puppy food for a number of months in order to get the extra calcium that they require for healthy bones and teeth. I believe the recommended time is up to a year and than switch them gradually. (80-20, 60-40, 50-50) and so on of new and old foods until you reach 100% new food.

There are some issues that a new food can cause. Like GI issues and diarrhea. I would suggest feeding her separate from the other dog in so that she gets the full benefit of the puppy food and if she snacks on a few bit of the adult food throughout the day I don't see much harm in that. But be sure that her main food source is her puppy food. At 4 months old she is still to young to make the switch to adult food.
