The new protocol recommended by the veterinary schools is every three years to avoid over vaccination. And then you should only get those that are absolutely necessary like those required by law or ones where there has been a recent disease problem in the area.

Think about it....people don't get vaccines every year....why would dogs need it? Especially yorkies who are indoor dogs.

The truth is that most dogs are fully immunized for life after their puppy series. You can have the vet conduct a titer test to determine your dog's immunity before deciding what vaccines to continue to give.

There is a lot of info on this on the internet and imo most vets who are still doing every year are just trying to keep their "production" up and get you in to see what else the dog may need that they can charge you for.

It is not only not necessary to get them evey year, it can actually do the dog harm from what I have read and been told by my vet.
