Omg, I know what you are going through.Yesterday we took Peanut (8 pounds) to the groomer at Petco. We came back two hours later and they said that they couldn't groom him because he wouldn't let them. He did get a bath though. We are taking him back on Monday, but this time I'm staying there to watch.The groomers in Petco and Petsmart are very young and they don't have alot of experience with puppies. (Peanut is 6 months.) If this doesn't work Im going to find a grooming salon. Your dog isn't bad he's just a baby. Try a different groomer. As far as training goes we are doing that too. What helps Peanut is a strong smelling treat to get his attention such as Pup~Peroni. Always make sure you're in front of your dog giving commands that grab his attention. Sometimes moving your chair away from the group helps with the hyper activity. Maybe you can take your dog for a walk before training class, just keep trying new things. Good Luck and keep us posted |
