  I've posted this somewhere before, but it is not "yelling" that gets the dogs attention - well actually it can, but boy who wants to wear out their own voice
 
 
It is the underlying authority in your voice.  This stems from your absolute certainty that you have the right to tell them what to do, and quite simply there is no choice but to obey you
 
 
So work on your own inner beliefs, to help fuel your commands.
