Mine was spayed 2 weeks ago and came through it fine. I was really worried , but there's been so many others that have been spayed in this last month that it helped me stay calm, reading about how well they did. The surgery is scary, for you and her. Remember this vet has done it before to hundreds of dogs. And you trust the vet ( I hope!) so she's in good hands.
The worst part was getting the stiches out. Mine wiggled so much that it took 2 people to hold her down (really 3 if you count me keeping her head still) to get the last 2 out- she had 5 all together...LOL! She's an XXXS sized yorkie, but strong as a pitbull when it comes to having stitches removed.
