With a halter it is great you could yank her up and away, how-ever a full male would not leave the two of you alone. Any full male of any size will want to mate her, and if she is up in your arms, that might stop a few males but not the majority. That means the male will leap up onto you to get to your female. A six pound male not such a problem, but what if it is a 80 to 100 lb dog? You will go down for sure. |
hmmmm, you pose a very good point....I'll be sure to let me daughter know this as she walks her most of the time. (i stopped typing to tell my daughter. She said two fenced in pitbulls were trying to jump the gate to get to her. but their gate is about 8 feet high so thank God for that.
