Love you're story and work with Fred. Yorkies Rule!
I work in the psychiatric / mental health field. I treat children, adolescents, and adults, many who are HIV positive. When someone walks into my office and exclaimed "isn't she cute" I know they are not talking about me, but my Yorkie Cali who goes to work with me every day and makes all of my hospital visits day or night with me.
I have patients who would rather have their nails pulled out than go to a doctor (especially psych) but who rush in the door to see Cali. Frankly, if she could sign a prescription with her paw print they might send me home.
So, you can see that I share your enthusiasm and appreciation for bringing Fred into the life of those who need both if you
