Look doll faced is yet another marketing term. Have you read the standard for Yorkshire Terriers? Does it mention anywhere the term doll faced? Yup, you are right NO it does not.
Yorkies should not be bred to a short or squashed in nose, at all. There are different esthetics to the nose in the show world. Some maybe a tad shorter than others, but no breeder I know deliberately breeds for doll faced!
As the muzzle length shortens, anatomically speaking the passageways up through the nose canal shortens, not to mention you have just shortened the jaw! Where do all those teeth fit into? And unless you widen the jaw you are going to have a lot of bite problems. If you widen the jaw through your breeding program, then you change the whole head shape....
