My mom got a new puppy. He started getting bald spots and was diagnosed with ringworms today. Yumi has been playing with him every day since she got him, around the 20th of last month. Mom asked the vet about the other dogs he has been playing with and he just said give him a call if they come down with it.

I really don't want Yumis hair to fall out. Teddy is on some kind of oral anti fungal, but when we got ringworms as kids I think we used a cream, so I was thinking maybe there is something I can to topically. Should I start bathing yumi and Yuri with an anti fungal shampoo in hopes that I can catch it before they start losing hair? Are they even helpful with ringworms? Are there different anti fungals in dog shampoo? what ingredients should I be looking for? Do they make any kind of anti fungal powders I could use on them instead?
