even if you don't see fleas you should keep them on a preventative- a flea can jump on them, bite them and jump off and leave them itching for days!
I recently switched my allergic boy to Canine Caviar too. So far we are still in the transition period but all seems well. If you don't already I also recommend wiping down the paws with baby wipes after coming in from outside- this has helped my licky paw yorkie a lot.
