Last night I had to keep our bathroom fan on & sit there w/Turbo & Princess. Good thing I had my tablet! I think all the shaking, panting, overheating & lack of sleep is taking a toll on Princess. She's losing weight & her appetite is gone. They're setting off loud explosions even @ 9am! Another reason why I can't wait to move...tonight, my parents & I are going to take the fur butts to a near by city that doesn't allow fireworks. There's a nice park there, so we'll be spending the 4th outdoors.
Thanks everyone.
Pixie has lost weight too. I started the clomicalm. Her vet said it takes a couple of weeks to really be effective. She is more subdued since I started it but is still reacting to loud noises once in awhile.
I feel so bad for these poor babies that are so frightened by fireworks. I will keep you posted.
