Her biting at her rump is concerning because it could be her anal glands… has she ever had them expressed? If not it would be wise to take her in and have them expressed, that could be the reason why she is biting back there.
We use K9 Advantix, always have, never had a flea or tick on him. There really is no “best” product. It is going to be based on how Priscilla does with it.
You may want to take her into the Vet and have her checked out- Do I think she is having allergies from the past food you have given her..? Yes but there could also be something else. Plus they can give you meds to make her feel more comfortable.
Before Peanut was better, he was worse- if that makes sense. I had to medicate him daily even when I first started him on CC. It took about a month for me to stop the meds, and then about 4/5 months to see a real improvement.
Can you take a picture of the blue coloring on her ear?
I think you and her could really benefit from a vet visit…
