I agree with Deanna. Uni has pancreatitis too. Hers was lamb that did it. Every dog is different. If you know what it was that set it off, that's better, you know what to avoid from now on. Some dogs it's cheese, others are beef. It just depends.

We also got a Rx food, but also don't remember which one. Uni had bloody diarrhea for about two weeks. I was already stressing but if she were smaller, who knows what could have happened!

Also, now that she's had it once, it's easily triggered to happen again, and sometimes not even with the same food! So I'd avoid all questionable foods from now on. For me that would be cheese (low fat cottage cheese ok), fatty and/or processed meats (burger, steak, hot dog, etc), pretty much anything with fat or oil on it I would skip. If you must give people food, stick with fruits and veggies. Mine love cucumber, tomato, lettuce, etc.
