the article gave me the impression that no one home. so that the dogs and puppies were crated. isn't that what "crate training" is? i think crating your dogs in a sunroom inside your home while you're out is different from raising dogs/puppies caged in a kennel environment. the presence of crates doesn't automatically mean the latter.
