the first mistake you made and still want to make is looking for a 3lb yorkie, those 3lb yorkies are runts and those bred to be small on purpose are often likely to have more problems than a standard size yorkie of about 5-6lbs. Breeders selling toy yorkies and talking about tiny weights are not going to be good breeders so it's the luck of the draw what you wind up with health wise. The only way to get a puppy and have a good idea what the weight will be is to buy one around 4 to 5 months of age, and even then their can be surprises. I am not sticking up for this breeder because he does sound unethical, but if weight is your criteria those are the kinds of breeders you most likely are going to wind up with |
