Welcome to Yorkie Talk. Your puppy might be adjusting to his new home. I would feed him whatever his breeder was feeding for at least a few weeks.

Put the food in his bowl and don't worry if he doesn't eat right away. Be happy and confident when you offer his food. Don't make changes or offer different things because this sends the signal to your puppy that something is wrong with the food.

Max had to be hand fed his first year. He wanted to do tricks for each of his kibble. Now he is a chow hound. You might have to do something like this.
