I don't know what the difference is between home and store, I guess he feels more comfortable at home.
Jack bites too, he is just playing, but it does hurt. I give him a toy whenever he does it, but then he thinks I want to play catch. He won't let go of the toy to let me throw it, and that is when I get the most nips. My vet said to put some tobasco sauce on the tip of my finger when he does it, but I can't bring myself to do that.
Has anyone else heard of that?

Yeah, I did the tobasco thing the Lil Bear when she was a puppy, cause bitter apple did nothing. So I bought a bottle of good Louisianna hot sauce (I lived there when I was young so I know the hot stuff) and put it on my hands and the wood in the house she would chew on.....well Lil Bear thought it was the best tasteing stuff since welll...the bitter apple and would lap it up and come to me for more. So hopefully Jack doesn't have a taste for hot sauce. Moose is 3 months and is bitting me too. But I will stray bitter apple on me and she will stop. I have tried the tug on the neck like momma dog and say no but she thinks I'm playing and will bite more. I have also tried the give her a chewie, but she just hits it out of the way and goes for my foot.
