I am not personally set up for PayPal. Breedsrs that can do PayPal and some have credit cards too...but I would imagine the puppy has to be paid for before it is released. Now if they are buying the ticket from Southwest, they pay for that however they do that....but if they are having the baby "hand delivered", I will take a personal check but it has to be received at least 10 working days before the baby is to be shipped...the check has to clear the bank before the puppy leaves Rosehill. I have had two events where people used a stolen Cashiers check and another used a forged money order.....one I caught, but the first one got me for a very expensive little puppy. I also will let the new owner transfer the amount due, directly into my kennel account... Western Union wire transfers. I have only used these once or maybe twice....90% of the time, the owners will actually just bring the cash when they show up to pick their baby up....the rest are done with CLEARED personal checks, submitted 10 working days before puppy is to ship. If the check bounces, that bank charge to me, which is $30.00, is then added to the amount due. I have never had anyone write me a bad check. Now that my business is establishjed and I usually have all my babies sold at least 6-8 months before they are born, I have already established a really good relationship with my owners and there is a lot of trust established between us.
