I got one of those email from Walmart for a laptop back in 2008 or 2009 about my "laptop order" for a Sony Vaio for $800 or $900! and wanting to verify my shipping address. I didn't click on it. Called my credit card companies and no such order had been charged to any of them and I had a watch placed on all of the accounts. Called Walmart online Customer Service and they had no such order so my email from "Walmart" was a total fake just wanting me to click on it. Thankfully nothing ever came of it and I had no more fake "Walmart" emails. But I was scared for what might come next for the longest time.
