Me too! Silly moo - obviously never been blessed by the unconditional love you get from an animal.....you HAVE to pity these people as they are missing a wonderful part of life

I freely admit to spoiling my animals BUT it's in a good way......none of this ridiculous dressing them up or carrying them around in handbags They get a good warm winter coat (not a dress!!!!!), a nice bright collar with ID disc, they are microchipped, fed a MUCH better diet than myself & Neil, lots of fun training so they can come everywhere with us on holiday, get two/three good walks every day whatever the weather and, most importantly I feel, the chance to BE A DOG They can run on the beach, roll in cow/horse poop/seaweed if they want (ok, I then call them unrepeatable names but never punish them for it...it's up to me to see the stuff before they do!), play with other dogs, have a good ol' sniff around in fields etc and just generally be happy.....or at least I HOPE they are happy I always try to do everything in my power to give them a fulfilling, stimulating, fun life....always have done with every single animal we've had - dogs, cats, mice, hamsters, birds, fish.

I recently saw a 2 year old Chihuahua for sale and she was wearing a dress, had painted toenails and her owner looked like a WAG - hair extensions, two-inch fake nails, an inch of make-up plastered on her face - you get the drift She also, the dog, came with a wardrobe of clothes AND a handbag to carry her in
If I'd had the cash I would have been tempted to get this wee dog just so I could make a nice bonfire of the clothes and handbag and then send a photo to her previous owner of Chihuahua at the beach covered in sand from where she'd been playing and running around and just being allowed to be a REAL dog
