We were at petsmart today (saturday) and my husband grabbed me and said "why are all these dogs here in crates?" I explained to him that petsmart does rescue adoptions on the weekends. He was ready to drag me outta there immediately until I told him that. Once he knew that, he had to to look at all the rescues, but only after admonishing me that we couldn't have any, he just wanted to look. I had already been there for 30 min while he was at the grocery store, so I had already loved on all the adoption dogs and Huey had already touched noses with them, too. There was only one I wanted, but not in love...just thought he was pitiful... cute little scraggly terrier-type blonde mutt that was scared of everything and growled because he was scared. One look at DH, no chance, so I moved on.
I don't know of any store in Chattanooga that sells pups, and hope that there aren't any.
