| I'm really happy to hear you changed vets. I thought you should - as soon as you asked if you should - because just asking that told me you didn't trust him. Honestly, I can't understand ever having to have your dog stay overnight for a spay or a neuter *unless* your dog has some other medical problems. I have 3 Yorkies and each one was spay/neutered in the morning and sent home by 4pm. I would never let one of mine stay *unless* there was an emergency and there was going to be someone there *at all times* which normally is not the case. Most vets will want you to go to an emergency animal hospital because they have staff already scheduled. Yes, definately make sure your pup's teeth are all out - otherwise you might have to take him back in... you don't want to have to put him under twice. I think most of mine were around 7 months old. Great job trusting your instincts!
