 Our Yorkie Kricket!
Being that we knew Kricket was going to be a small yorkie and that we had had another 6pound yorkie before her (Gizmo) we had pre decided to litter box train! The winter weather is hard on me so a little yorkie! And yes I spoiled her.... Still do! We when we took her out we had puppy pads that we would put down in the bathroom. My mother in law used to be so amazed at how she would just get up and run down to the bathroom and go like people. And like people she liked her privacy! Now we are on two acres and after having her in the yard walking about with us she piddled outside! She has become a DOG out here! Unlike in the city where she would go out for a walk and come in to piddle! Both our Yorkies have been tricky... Both were given a treat for going and both faked the piddle act just to get the treat! Now that was alarmingly smart to us mere people! I find they can be very stubborn when they choose... One day at a time! |
