IDK but dogs have eaten grocery store dogfood for years and most of them live fairly long lives. My childhood dog lived to the age of 16 years and he ate something called Red Heart canned dog food and occasional table food as I recall. Mother just bought it at the grocery store by the case. I guess only time, research and empirical evidence with tell us whether certain diets significantly prolong the lives of most dogs. Hope we do learn that better diets can help them live longer!
