And that includes all media - news and social. And those sponsors and even some of Deen's friends don't seem to be sticking by her. No doubt it's largely because she's Southern and news, social media and the internet culture are biased in their own ways against someone from the South. As South can be against them and so it goes. Hopefully in time her grave mistake will be forgiven and people will move on and let her move on. A terrible and degrading use of the N-word that recalls something so shameful as slavery shouldn't really pigeon-hole someone for the rest of their life as a bad person because it's the PC thing to do. Especially if that person has changed their ways and is sorry for past deeds and works to make things better for those hurt. I so hate mob mentality that just keeps on feeding on itself. If she's treated anything like Martha Stewart, Ray Lewis, Kobe Bryant, James Brown, Michael Vick and other celebrities, this new "enlightened" culture of ours will accept her back in time the same as the others.
