Been there, done that a couple weeks ago. It's nerve-wracking! When I picked Tatum up that afternoon (she didn't have to stay overnight), she was so mad at me she wouldn't even look me in the eye. I too stayed home with her the next day although the vet said try not to treat her any different because they feed off of that. But we laid on the couch most of the day and just kept her quiet. Don't know much about boys though but I'm sure it will all be fine. But of course you worry! Good luck!
