I was just reading about a food that was mentioned on another thread. The company name is Horizon. They make a few different formulas. Amicus is their formula for small dogs. They make a puppy, adult and senior formula. It looks like a decent company. The protein is lower than Orijin if that is important to you. I have not found the protein content to be as important as the quality of the protein used. Quality proteins are easily processed and eliminated.
The Horizon Legacy also looks good. I am really cautious about highly processed foods like kibble but this one looks like it is made using less of a heat process than most. |
