Goats milk has been found to be one of the most digestible forms of milk out there. I don't use it. I find milk to be an unneeded item in most adult dog's diets but I don't think feeding unpasteurized goats milk would do any harm to the dogs and if the dogs have some sort of digestive problem it may be helpful.
My kids were raised on unpasteurized whole milk. We got it weekly from a local small farm. The milk was always handled properly and we never had a problem with it. People drank unpasteurized milk for thousands of years. Pasteurization did not become necessary until large populations had to have milk and the handling of it was not being done properly. |
