I don't think you have anything to worry about. Benji tends to do the same thing - he snorts a lot when he plays with his favourite toy "Ms. Blue". I think that this is something he will grow out of. He will eventually learn to slow down and take a breath. He sometimes gets so excited and eats his food too much and gags but has never thrown up. However, if you are worried I would mention this concern to your vet the next time you visit but, over time you will also learn a lot more about their little tendencies and won't worry so much about all of their silly noises.
