I think you will both be very happy grooming at home. Finding a really good groomer for a Yorkie is hard. Other dog breeds are so much easier. As so many here have stated, they would rather make mistakes at home.
You can do a little at a time. I do sanitary cuts one week, paws and ears the next, and so on.
