Paula only admitted to using the word in regard to a person that held a gun to her head in a bank, many years ago.
Still there will be more info to come forward, but so far I stand by my feeling that she is not a racists, and has been punished too severely.

This pretty much captures how I feel too. Her current endeavors have basically all been destroyed...and that, to me, is too extreme a consequence to pay for using a word she shouldn't have.
Think of Tiger Woods - he lost almost all of his endorsers back during his cheating scandal. Now in that case, I totally understand and think it was very valid bc the utter extent of his abhorrent behavior, pretense, and lies went so deep/far. But in Paula's case, I think her endorsers are the ones who went too far. It makes me think they were
already looking for a way to jump ship for whatever reasons, and just used this convenient scandal to do so.
