I know he'll be busy getting washing and dried and groomed but a little toy or blanket his is familiar with by his side sure could help. I don't blame you for not liking this groomer and I'd say go with your feeling about her and don't do business with her again. Hoping you find a good one who you and sweet Jasper are more comfortable with.
Yes Jeanie, I was quite shocked about not being able to leave any of his things with him. I had read here on YT where so many do leave blankets, toys, crate, etc. that I just expected it. I never asked when I set up the appt. So poor Jasper was alone there with nothing to remind him of home. But I won't be caught off guard again. I intend to make a list of questions before scheduling another grooming. Also, I'm going to ask to see the grooming area. I want to see the environment he will be in. Who would have thought that so much needs to go into this. I certainly didn't. No, we won't be using this groomer, nor recommending her, again. "First time shame on you, 2nd time shame on me". There won't be a 2nd time.
