I agree with the bone structure usually stops by 8 months. That being said, Tameka (RIP) stopped growing in height & weight around 6 months. She was 10 when she passed and before she got sick she was exactly 4lbs. Her weight would go down a few ounces, but never went over 4lbs.
Teeka will be 1 in a couple of weeks and she has not grown in height, length or girth since she was 6 months. She has and needs to add some weight.
So, I think it depends on the dog and its bone or frame size when they complete their growth. |
