i got her checked at the vet and she is not in heat... it is a phantom pregnancy.
the vet put her on her back and squeezed a nipple and got milk in/near his face
she is on a course of pills to help stop the milk and is booked in for a spay next week
the vet said if she was an only dog she would be collecting "puppies" and some males confuse the smell she gives off with her being in season
