Sometimes they need what I call a hard boot hold down power key and home key at the same time. You have to hold them for a short time. It will shut down and then give it a minute and turn back on. If you dont do it just right it will take a picture. Lol. Another thing is shut all your apps running below hold you home key down for a few seconds and the apps will appear on the bottom of the screen hold on the first one and you see get a minus sign. Hit the minus sign and it closes it.
