^^I agree with Janice. They are more expensive because they are a 24 hour facility. Night staff cost more. Even keeping the lights on 24 hours a day costs more -- double the electric bill. Our pet ER is a state of the art animal hospital. The equipment costs a lot to purchase and maintain.
