BTW, if your Ginger has had PLE since 2010 that is great! I love hearing success stories. This can be a very difficult condition to get under control. For some time after Cookie's diagnosis I was a wreck and ran her to the vet more often than probably needed to check her albumin levels. Don't know about you, but I did get a bit more comfortable with it...but it still is always in the back of my mind when she acts even a bit odd.
She recently had a dental and then about 2 weeks later, tore a ligament in her knee and needed surgery. I was worried the anesthesia and the stress might set the PLE off even though they told me it would be ok.
