Well I guess we did good then. We were not very savvy about dogs but knew from research we wanted a yorkie. I contacted a local women who is the president of an akc show club asking for referrals as I didn't trust some of these online sites (just a feeling). She had a year old dog who she decided didn't have the aggressiveness she required for her show dogs. We met her, fell in love and purchased her for the same amount you would pay for a show dog. She is a doll, has completely come out of her shell and my kids just adore her. She will never see a show ring but let me tell you she has center stage around here...
