Excellent article! Thanks for posting it!! I for one, do not separate my puppies when they are born, and give any less attention to some of the litter, because I am going to call them, "just pets". They all get the same care, the same attention, the same dedication, the same meds, the same food, etc....none of them get less, because they will be going out as "just pets". It is all the special things they get, way above and beyond what pups that are peddled out of card board boxes in a parking lot or a flea market, plus the pedigrees/building blocks of their very existance behind them, that determine my babies are not constrained from anything brilliant their future may hold for them, because they are "just pets"......None of my babies are "just pets"....
