Hi sweet friend! I'd stick with 8oz, even with my 3 doggies. The dose for a 25lb dog is 1/4th tsp - so if you break that down to around a 5 pound dog, it literally ends up being a pinch of the powder...so it lasts and lasts. I think an 8oz jar lasts me longer than a year! I almost wish they made an even smaller jar. I hope it works well for Katie...they have about 5 different choices for probiotics at Natures Farmacy, and they're all good ones...I don't know if one would fit her better than the other.
