The only problem with the puppy pad is that she doesn't sniff before she goes potty. She just goes we have a puppy pad in the house and have showed it to her but she never even goes near it. The soil in our yard is new, we put top soil down about 2 months ago. It came from a creek and I haven't seen any dog poop in our yard.

Until then, the best way to safe guard her is to not let her down on the ground where other dogs have been. You could also take a potty pad outside to put her on, but if she walks on the ground, she could be exposed. Ask your vet how common it is in your area.

Being that she is so young and tiny, Parvo could put her down very quickly.
